One Humanity.
Many Tables.
One Soul.
Healing doesn't begin with agreement.
It begins with a conversation.
At Challah and Soul, we bring Black and Jewish communities together through food, storytelling, and shared learning, creating relationships that strengthen families, neighborhoods, and communities.
We all want the same thing.
To belong.
To be seen.
To trust and be trusted.
To know our children will inherit relationships instead of fear.
Yet we live in a time when conversations are becoming harder, communities are becoming more divided, and too many people no longer know the people living beside them.
We believe another future is possible.
We Don't Start with Programs.
We Start with People.
OUR APPROACH
Every lasting movement begins with a single conversation.
Through shared meals, personal stories, and meaningful learning, we create spaces where trust can grow, and where that trust ripples outward into families, congregations, schools, workplaces, and communities.
CONVERSATION → TRUST → BELONGING → LEADERSHIP → COMMUNITY CHANGE
Our Three Pillars
Food
Food is our invitation.
Shared meals lower barriers and open hearts.
Education
Education inspires action. Understanding becomes the foundation for lasting relationships.
Storytelling
Stories build trust. When people share their lived experiences, empathy grows.
Connection Happens in Many Ways
SIGNATURE PROGRAM
One Soul. Many Tables.
Small, facilitated gatherings where people build trust and belonging across difference, one table at a time.
Not a debate. Not a panel. A table, a meal, and the space to actually hear someone.
